“I recommend FarmTrack to improve spraying efficiency on wine farms,” says Kallie Fernhout who installed the device more than five years ago on two tractors at Delaire Graff Wine Estate outside Stellenbosch.

“I can check when spraying was started and completed, the rows sprayed, time spent in the vineyard, and the tractor’s speed. I can also see how long the tractor is stationary and the hours worked by the tractor driver.”

Fernhout uses FarmTrack to reconcile the quantity of chemicals applied with the quantity recommended for a vineyard, to record and control fuel consumption, and to keep track of hours worked by each tractor for service intervals.
