Case Bloemfontein and Ladybrand branches, situated in the heart of South Africa’s Free State province, have broadened their product portfolio with the addition of Wacker Neuson machines, giving agriculture and construction customers access to an extensive range of compact material handling solutions designed to meet diverse operational needs.
With Case Ladybrand’s established presence in the agricultural sector, the initial focus will be on supporting agricultural customers in the area with Wacker Neuson’s relevant equipment and solutions. In Bloemfontein, the dealership will also focus on introducing Wacker Neuson’s construction equipment to a broader customer base. The two branches are initially introducing five units, with plans to broaden the range in line with customer demand and local market needs, ensuring the product portfolio is tailored to requirements and aligned with the machine categories represented by the dealership.
Glenn Theron, Wacker Neuson Sales Manager for Sub Saharan Africa, explains that the priority is to build a sustainable, long term partnership with Case Bloemfontein and Ladybrand founded on customer service, market development and mutual growth. “This appointment presents us with an opportunity to further strengthen Wacker Neuson’s presence and customer bases in the Free State, while Wacker Neuson provides the product, technical expertise and support needed to fully unlock and grow opportunities.”
Case Bloemfontein and Case Ladybrand are proud to welcome Wacker Neuson into their portfolio, marking a significant step into the construction equipment market. For owner and dealer principal of the two Case branches, Charlene Badenhorst, the appointment represents more than simply adding another product line. She believes that the Wacker Neuson appointment opens the door to working more closely with contractors and municipal customers, while offering a broader range of equipment and solutions supported by the same personal excellent service and local expertise.
“With Wacker Neuson now available through two additional locations in the Free State, customers benefit from convenient availability of machines, parts, service and after-market support, all delivered by a team they already know and trust.”
Case Bloemfontein and Case Ladybrand have long supported farmers and businesses across the Free State, serving both the agricultural and construction industries with world class machinery, parts and technical expertise. After sales service is a vital part of the dealership’s offering, encompassing maintenance, servicing and repairs within the agreed product scope. Each dealership operates fully equipped workshops staffed by qualified technicians, backed by established parts departments and responsive field service teams who attend to equipment on customers’ sites, and who understand the importance of uptime and keeping customers’ machines running.
“For customers, reliability is critical; a machine that is not operating costs both time and money,” emphasises Charlene.
“They need dependable equipment, supported by strong service especially when challenges arise. This is the way we have always conducted business. Wacker Neuson is recognised for durable, quality machines built to handle tough conditions, and while the brand is still growing in the region, the potential is clear. With established customer relationships and a reputation for local knowledge and responsive support, the organisation is well positioned to build Wacker Neuson into a trusted choice.”

Glenn explains that Wacker Neuson was already familiar with the Case dealership network and its operations, establishing a foundation of familiarity and trust. “Building on that relationship, discussions were initiated to explore a deeper collaboration and position the Bloemfontein and Ladybrand dealerships as valued Wacker Neuson partners. The dealer appointment reflects a carefully considered tactical approach, shaped by a narrative of shared values, market reputation and technical capability.”
In the Free State, farming and construction often overlap, creating demand for versatile machines that can handle digging, loading, moving materials and general site work. “Wacker Neuson excavators and telehandlers meet customer needs across multiple applications, aligning with the varied requirements of our market and making them a practical investment. We have no doubt that they will perform particularly well,” notes Charlene. She adds that compaction equipment is expected to gain significant traction, driven by the high volume of road and infrastructure projects currently underway across the region.
“To ensure that our new dealerships can meet evolving customer requirements and market opportunities, Wacker Neuson works closely with the Bloemfontein and Ladybrand teams on collaborative stock planning and support,” highlights Glenn.
He confirms that parts availability is managed with the same focus, with the dealer expected to carry fast moving and regularly required items for their customer base. In addition, Wacker Neuson maintains substantial parts reserves to provide extra backing to the dealer network when needed.
Charlene is impressed with how Wacker Neuson has been highly supportive throughout the process. “Their team has been professional and responsive from the outset. The comprehensive sales and technical training they provide is a major advantage for us as new dealers, ensuring our teams understand the products from day one and can represent and support the range effectively.”
“This training is continuous, with regular refresher courses and product specific sessions offered as needed, ensuring our sales and technical staff are equipped to provide customers with accurate advice and deliver a complete spectrum of services and after market support, from maintenance and repairs to parts supply and responsive field assistance. We look forward to strengthening the Wacker Neuson brand, building lasting relationships with both new and existing customers, and supporting them with the right equipment, parts and service for many years to come.”
