Minister Didiza to engage with Free State province Communal Properties Associations (CPA’s) and farmer organisations and unions in Bloemfontein

The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Thoko Didiza, MP together with her deputies Mcebisi Skwatsha and Nokuzola Capa, will on 07- 08 April 2022 engage Communal Properties Associations(CPA’s) and Farmer organisations and unions in the Mangaung Metro Municipality in the Free State under the theme: “Let’s Grow South Africa Together”.

The engagement is ahead of the Presidential Imbizo which is aimed at ensuring that voices and perspectives of communities are heard. It also aims to solicit inputs on how to grow the Agricultural industry and to resolve challenges within Communal Property Associations. The Presidential visit to the Free State is part of the commitment made by the President in his 2022 State of the Nation Address that government must work for the people. It will also offer the President an opportunity to listen to residents and respond to their concerns.

The Minister will also visit an LSD/PLAS farm in Bainsvlei as part of inspecting the work that is being undertaken in the farm.
