King Feeds was inspired by the need of small to middle-sized farmers struggling to make ends meet. Rising fuel prices and commodity prices such as soy and maze has the smaller farmers on their knees.

The concept and vision of King Feeds are simple: We offer great quality livestock feed at affordable prices, accessible in areas where people need it most.

Farming on smallholdings is becoming increasingly popular as a secondary income for many South Africans. A rising number in Poultry Farmers, both broilers and layers, as well as cattle, sheep and goat Farmers rises the demand for livestock feed.

As many of these are first time Farmers, they are also in need of expert advice on how to maximize their farming potential. King Feeds offers this personalized service to customers with site visits and a “hand hold” approach until the Farmer is on his feet.

We are constantly working with suppliers to get the retail prices as low as possible for the end-users, at the same time ensuring that quality stays top-notch with regular product lab testing and working hand in hand with some of the country’s most well-known field experts.

King Feeds has signed a few strategic alliances with brands like MEQA Feeds who specifically formulated their product together with WISIUM Laboratories to produce maximum yield without breaking the bank for livestock raised by farmers with fewer resources and facilities to their disposal.

King Feeds has established four depots since December 2019 and plan to open more depots across South Africa. The goal is to establish depots in areas where the need is greatest and to also help small farmers with start-ups and business growth.

Current depots are situated in Brits, Mooinooi, Matooster and Moruleng, North West.
