Managing Director of the Wool Testing Bureau, Wian Heath, received a Silver Ram award from the National Woolgrowers’ Association of SA (NWGA).
This honour was bestowed on him at the NWGA Head Office, Port Elizabeth last week. The award was scheduled to be handed over at the 2020 National Congress, but the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The woolgrowers of South Africa acknowledged the 15-year reign of Heath, who has been instrumental in maintaining the excellent national and international technical status of the Wool Testing Bureau. Heath has done this by participating in various international trials that are compulsory for testing houses to partake in. He has made significant contributions to annual IWTO meetings all over the world and is highly thought of and respected by international testing houses. He is a man of integrity who is respected by all 53 permanent employees.
Congratulations Mr Heath; you are indeed an asset to the wool industry and the Wool Testing Bureau will continue to thrive and improve operating efficiency and service levels under your management.
