The GART Research Centre was once again a beehive of activities during the recent Agritech show. This year there were seven international pavilions. Another 242 local and international exhibitors decided to undertake the huge and daunting, but exciting task to erect their stands with care and elegance to display their exquisite merchandise and services. Last year there were just more than 165 stands and two international pavilions.
Agritech Zambia is regarded as one of the biggest agricultural shows in Africa and more than 18 000 people from all over the agricultural spectrum attended the show this year, compared to 17 605 visitors in 2016. The show was organised for the fourth time by the event organiser, Spintelligent, and the ZNFU (Zambia National Farmers’ Union).
