Kallie Khaki is a truly South African business owned by Leatitia Smit, who started this journey in 2011, after an idea to help change the lives of South African farmers and outdoor workers by supplying them with high quality outdoor clothing that will resist the onslaught of the sun and all the other African elements.

There was also a deep desire to give clients superior customer service in a highly competitive environment. Service became one of Kallie Khaki’s corner stones on which the business is based. The name, Kallie Khaki, calls to mind a hardened, firm and persistent farmer (who we all are familiar with and can relate to) who sits on the porch after a long days’ work in the sun with his pipe and soil stained khaki clothing, looking over his land.
